At peterselie we believe that any brand should have a sustainable foundation. From the start we were looking for the right partnerships and the most sustainable way to organise our production process.  We decided to work closely together with our partners in Italy for multiple reasons: a healthy work environment, fair wages, lower gas emissions for transport, high quality & know-how. 

Deadstock leather

Every year luxury brands throw away tons of overproduced leather, called deadstock. The leather is still perfectly fine and is just waiting to be used. At peterselie we want to reduce the industry's waste by producing all our items with this leather, creating one of a kind bags with a story. Every drop is unique, we can’t restock a bag in the exact same leather because we only work with leftovers we have carefully selected and handpicked ourselves in stocks across Italy. All our items are handmade in Padua Italy. The Italian touch is undeniable when looking at the finishing of our leather goods.
